Cassie & Nick booked me for their Wedding quite along time before they were due to get married so it was great to catch back up with them a few weeks before and chat about their day & what they had planned.
Cassie got ready at home & we met her and the girls there. It was a great morning & I was able to photograph not only Cassie having her hair & make-up but also all the little detail, which makes each Wedding special & unique. I also love getting to look at the dress, shoes & sparkly jewellery 🙂
After leaving Cassie to finish off her final preparations we headed to The Charlecote Pheasant hotel in Stratford to meet Nick, his Groomsmen & Family.
After the ceremony at The Charlecote Pheasant hotel, Cassie & Nick had planned a short car ride & bride & groom photo shoot at the beautiful Tudor House & Gardens of Charlecote Park.
After having the opportunity to spend some quiet time to together (+ me & Stuart with our 4 cameras lol) we headed back to The Charlecote Pheasant hotel for some group shots & a quick cake cut before the speeches.
I really enjoyed photographing Cassie & Nick’s Wedding . They were a lovely easy going couple to photograph & it was great fun looking back through the photos we took on the day & editing them.
Here are a few images from their day.

If it isn’t hard enough planning a wedding … Camilla & Paddy planned their UK wedding whilst living in New Zealand. Camilla’s mother helped with the plans & preparation as she lived much nearer to the venues … Switzerland !
Camilla had chosen to get married to Paddy in St Laurence Parish Church, Bidford-on-Avon followed by the reception at the beautiful Stoneleigh Abbey. With a week to go the couple had flown in to the UK to finalise all the last minute details and to meet with me to go over their photography ideas (over a very lovely coffee and yummy slice of cake).
Camilla & Paddy were very keen to have some of their photographs taken in the great Library and the grand stair case within Stoneleigh Abbey & even though the weather was superb the indoor decor is stunning to be able to photograph.
Here are just a small selection of the images taken on the day.
If you or anyone you know are getting married please do not hesitate to contact me to arrange an informal chat about the wedding photography your special day.
Our New Arrival
Well after deciding to keep us waiting for nearly 2 weeks, Grace finally made her appearance :). Stuart & I are overjoyed & are very grateful to everyone for their kind wishes & gifts.
Jessica (now 5 yrs old) has taken to her big sister’s role brilliantly, particularly in the important duty of deciding what outfit Grace should wear that day! 🙂
I’m now taking a little break until the Summer, however if you’d like to contact me to chat about an upcoming wedding, event or photo shoot then please still feel free to email me on firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible but please forgive me if I’m not quite as quick as I should be 🙂
The day of Jane & Stuart’s wedding arrived & with a glorious sunny day ahead we made our way to meet Jane at Bosworth hall. We had been asked to photography Jane & Stuart’s wedding right from early morning up until the evening celebrations. After their pre wedding meeting a few weeks earlier it became clear that not only would Jane be the star of the day but their beautiful daughter Jorga would be too :). Jane & Stuart have a large family & group of friends & a good number of which we’re children. Jane & Stuart were very keen for the children to be captured naturally, enjoying themselves, as much as possible through out the day. With a large venue, big grounds & lots of children it made it essential that there were two photographers. Jane & Stuart knew that I often have an assistant photographer with me & knowing also that my little girl Jessica was about the same age as Jorga, were confident that I would be up to the task in hand. With this in mind we made our way to the bridal suite to meet Jane & the 6 young bridesmaids – Chaos I hear you say? – we’ll to our surprise – exactly the opposite :). Jane was a very calm, organised bride & not only did she have time to get ready herself but with a little help from family, helped with the 6 bridesmaids & still had time to pose for photos !!
Jane & Stuart’s wedding was a wonderful wedding from start to finish. Family & friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves (as did I 🙂 ), there was lots of smiles from the children who behaved themselves all day & we had a fantastic time being part of their special day.
Here is just a small selection of photos from Jane & Stuarts Wedding at Bosworth Hall.
Tess and Tom are such a lovely couple that we couldn’t help but smile most of the day. The wedding ceremony and celebrations all took place at The Windmill Village Hotel, Coventry. We were photographing their wedding right from Tess getting ready until late into the evening celebrations. Tess & Tom were very keen to have not only group & posed shots but as much reportage style photography as time allowed … needless to say, with guests enjoying themselves & the weather on our side, guests spent as much time chatting, drinking & laughing outside, as they could … so plenty of photo opportunities 🙂 !! Here are just a few photos from their day! ……..

With a busy August ahead, July is chocked full of pre wedding meetings & a number of pre-wedding photoshoots.
This weekend was the turn of Becki & Gaz.
I first meet Becki & Gaz around a year ago so it was great to catch up properly, stroll around Ettington Chase hotel & discuss their photographic wish list.
As a wonderful keep-sake, Becki & Gaz were keen to have one of the images taken from this photo shoot as a centrepiece of a photo mount so that their friends & families can sign it on their wedding day … I’ll look forward to seeing which image they choose 🙂
Becki & Gaz were a great couple to photograph & I’m very much looking to their wedding date later on in August this year !
We met up with Natalie and James recently to discuss their wedding photography requirements and to take a few practice shots at their chosen wedding venue; the very lovely Ettington Park Hotel at Alderminster near to Stratford Upon Avon in Warwickshire. It was a cold day so we didn’t spend too much time outside but I’m pleased with the photographs that we got.
Firstly, if you’ve read my blog before you’ll know how much I love Ettington Park. Here’s a glimpse of the venue ….
Wherever you look there are fabulous trees, lovely manicured grounds and fabulous architecture; all help to enhance the photographs. I think it’s fair to say that Natalie and James would look pretty good whatever venue they chose though!
Sometimes when I’m doing photo shoots or weddings I make use of one shot to give two or more different images. That’s an advantage of using the highest quality professional Canon cameras and lenses. Here’s an example of cropping into the image above to give a totally different image overall…..
Whenever I photograph couples at a wedding I like them to be comfortable with what I’m asking them to do and one of the reasons for the pre-wedding photo shoot is to get them used to being in-front of the camera and trying out different locations at the venue …
Natalie and James seemed very relaxed and comfortable and I’m sure We’ll get some great shots on their wedding day
These images are just a few of the ones that I took on Natalie and Jame’s pre-wedding photo shoot. On their actual wedding day I’ll be the lead photographer and I’ll make sure that I get the more formal shots of individuals and groups that they want but my husband, Gary, will also be there with me with different cameras and lenses. He’ll be snapping away, often from a distance, to capture more informal shots of the happy couple and their guests throughout the day. Between us We’ll get loads of lovely shots that capture all of the details, emotions and the whole story of their wedding day. I’m really looking forward to this one!
