Wedding Photography at Walton Hall, Wellesboune – Laura & Ben’s Wedding

Wedding Photography at Walton Hall, Wellesboune – Laura & Ben’s Wedding

Stuart (kettell video production)  & I, again, had the pleasure of photographing & filming another wedding together. Laura & Ben had chosen the lovely Walton Hall in Wellesbourne. Nestled in 65 acres of picturesque countryside in Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel charming hotel & a perfect setting for Laura & Ben to hold their wedding service & then their reception. The day had started off a little drizzley but this definitely didn’t put a dampener on things! & as luck would have it by the time we went out side to photograph, the weather was just perfect.

Ben & Laura had asked if we could an arial heart shape group shot & walton hall has a perfect balcony for such a shot :-). After fairly quickly organising all of their wedding guests in to probably the best heart shape I’ve done to date, with lots of pointing & arm waving from up high, Ben & Laura proudly took centre stage in order to capture their stunning group shot.

Group shots & games on the lawn followed & while guest were making the most of the beautiful grounds & the entertainment, we took Laura & Ben off for a little while to capture their couple shots.

We walked out to the far side of the lake & carefully negotiating a route around the duck poo! allowed us to photograph my favourite two images or Laura & Ben from their day.

Here is just a sneaky peek of some of their images from their day🙂

All of their images are now available to view on my main website. If you are a friend or family member please ask Laura & Ben for their password.

Wedding Photography Wethele Manor Warickshire- David & Ilsa’s

Stuart & I have know Dave for a number of years after being privileged enough to photograph for the Peugeot Citroen DS Group for years. So to be asked to photography his & Ilsa’s wedding was simply the icing on the cake 🙂

Dave & Ilsa had chosen to get married at the idyllic 16th Century Wethele Manor Hotel .

Wethele Manor is a wonderfully family run exclusive wedding venue located just 2 miles from Royal Leamington Spa in the heart of Warwickshire. After photographing weddings there on numerous occasions I have always been impressed at the level of service offered by Simon & his team.

After spending the morning photographing Ilsa & her children in their preparation we then moved to Wethele Manor to meet with Dave & his best man.

Bridal Preparation

Wethele ManorGroom & Best Man Photo

As always, the setting had been beautifully decorated in preparation for the Wedding breakfast & after spending some time photographing all the small details which makes each wedding unique Stuart & I got ready for Ilsa’s arrival.

After a lovely emotional service, group & family photos we took Dave & Ilsa off around the grounds. Wow what a truly fun couple! Not only did their joy & complete Love for each other shine through but it made it such an overwhelming pleasure to photograph them both together. Some people & destined to be together & it was obvious that Dave & Ilsa certainly were 🙂

Above are just a few or the hundreds of images Stuart & I capture during Dave & Ilsa’s wedding.

If you are getting married at Wethele Manor or another Warwickshire/ West Midlands Venue please do not hesitate to contact me as I would love to chat to you about photographing your special day 🙂

Beth & Chris’s Wedding – St Peter’s Church Dunchurch, Warwickshire.

Beth & Chris’s Wedding – St Peter’s Church Dunchurch, Warwickshire.

Beth & Chris had chosen to get married in St Peter’s Church Dunchurch, Warwickshire followed by a reception in the beautiful settings of Beth’s Parent’s Home.

I had met with Beth & Chris a few weeks before their wedding to chat through what photographs they would like and what was most important to them, for me to capture.

As well as the traditional images and groups Beth & Chris really liked the more candid reportage style photos & so I suggested that I would bring one of my second photographers, Gemma to capture some additional images.  The suggestion of photographing the hard hats also cropped up & it’ll become clear as to why this was relevant!

The day of their wedding arrived & the weather was near perfect, always a good start 🙂

After spending the morning at the family home, with Beth & her family, where they we enjoying getting ready we then made our way to St Peter’s Church.

St Peter’s is a 14th century ‘usually’ picturesque church situated in the central square in Duchurch, however, for Beth & Chris’s wedding we had already been pre warned that St Peter’s was undergoing much needed major work on the tower & walls.  This had required the entire tower to be covered in scaffolding & sheet corrugated iron !  Fab for the church, not so great for wedding photographs! Beth & Chris had decided to embrace the ‘new look’ of the church rather than moan about the unfortunate backdrop & had even had two builder’s hard hats decorated by a friend, for the occasion.

After a lovely Church service & photos around the grounds … incorporating the hard hats! we made our way back to Beth’s family home , in Dunchurch, to carry on the celebrations. After capturing all of the group images Beth & Chris had requested we then got to spend some time around the grounds of their family farm home capturing posed & more natural shots of Beth & Chris. We maximised on the wonderful weather & fantastic props around the grounds including bales of hay & a great big red tractor :-).

The wedding reception was held in a superbly decorated marquee at the bottom of their garden.

I was lucky enough to enjoy a superb meal & the most amazing dessert (well it would have been rude to refuse!) before photographing the speeches.

Below are just a few of the images captured at Beth & Chris’s wedding.

If you or someone you know is getting married in and around Warwickshire (or even further afield!) & would like to chat about having your wedding photographed by a professional photographer please do not hesitate to call or email.

I’ll look forward to hearing from you x

Victoria Jane Photography -A short preview of my wedding photography

Victoria Jane Photography -A short preview of my wedding photography

Wow were has the time gone? My poor old blog has been rather neglected over the last year … although for a good reason 🙂 I decided to take a little less work on so I could play Mummy a little bit more to our new beautiful daughter Livy, who has just turned 1 !

Were to start ? I have so many fabulous weddings to add and some really exciting corporate jobs I’ve had the honour to photograph over the last year. But Rome wasn’t built in a day and so rather than try rushing to post everything I thought Id have a look back over the last year or so and design a little video showing some of my favourite wedding photographs.

Being a professional Wedding photographer is such a wonderful privilege.  Not only do I get to be part of your special day (& maybe even eat a slice of cake!) but I get to create memories for you that will last a life time… precious memories that you’ll be able to look back on in years to come and smile, and maybe even shed a tear, reminiscing about your amazing day. And I have been lucky enough to have been allowed to create those irreplaceable memories, frozen in time, for hundreds and hundreds of lovely couples.

So how can I choose my favourite images as I must have an archive of 100’s of thousands of images.  Well the honest answer is I couldn’t, as I have too many :-),  so instead I chose a handful of images which hopefully captures who I am a photographer and give you an idea about how passionate I am about what I can do for you. What ever your preferred style, relaxed reportage photography, more classic photography or even unique contemporary photography & I happy to listen to your hopes for your Special day.

I’d love to hear from you if you have an up coming Wedding and would like a professional photographer. From small intimate registry office weddings to Grand Stately Homes, Id love to be part of your special day, capturing & creating life long memories for you, and even more favourite photographs for me!

Nicki & Rob’s Wedding at Allesley Church & Brandon Hall

A job doesn’t get much better when you can combine everything you love. My passion for photography, getting to be creating with wonderful wedding dresses, pretty flowers, sparkly jewellery, working with Stuart who was 2nd shooting with me on this wedding, celebrating special occasions with happy people & of course … cake! So how pleased was I that I could combine all of these with Nicki & Rob’s Wedding.

Nicki & Rob popped over a few weeks before their wedding to chat through their day & have a few informal practise shots as they were a little nervous about having their pictures taken.  I know they were nervous but they really had no need to be.  They are a lovely couple with great personalities & who obviously adore each other & this shone through in the images I captured   :).

Stuart & I headed to Nicki’s house to first capture all the pretty details of the dress, shoes, flowers etc as well as Nicki & her bridesmaids’ preparation.  It was clear from the beginning that this was going to be a lovely feel-good wedding.

After spending some time with the girls we headed to Allesley Church in Coventry to photograph Rob with his two best men & usher.  Rob was happy for fun & formal photograph so we made the most of it by getting the lads to star jump & give Rob the bumps!

It was a lovely service conducted by Robin &, once finished, we spent a little time getting some of the group shots Nicki & Rob had asked for, as well as the first of the shots of Nicki & Rob as husband & wife.

After a cheeky glass of Champaign, the happy couple made their way to Brandon Hall in style in a lovely 1933 Rolls Royce convertible, courtesy of Chris from C.G.Wedding cars

We’d had a bad spell with the weather & I knew Nicki had been worried that her wedding would be a wash out.  She’d hired out some lovely pretty white parasol type umbrellas.  Nicki hadn’t needed to have been worried as the weather ended up being glorious.  However, it would have been an awful waste to not have used the parasols & as well as some lovely shots with the couple we had great fun with the youngest bridesmaid and Nicki’s two cheeky twin brothers.

We finished our photographic coverage after the speeches, which went down very well, particularly the double act from the best men which comprised of a slide show, showing various embarrassing photos as well as reminiscing about the antics of a younger Rob.

Nicki & Rob’s wedding was a fantastic & fun wedding to photograph. Below are a few of my favourite images we took from the day.

Craig and Alice’s Wedding | Photography in Harbury, Warwickshire by Victoria Jane Photography

Some weddings can be described in only 3 words; Fun, Fun, FUN !!!

When Alice and Craig met me to discuss their photography I was in no doubt that this was going to be a fabulous day ….. and I wasn’t wrong! They were a lovely couple with a lively set of guests and bridesmaids and groomsmen who were also up for a laugh.

It was really interesting to see some different things on the day that had been carefully planned: the bride taking her pet sheep for a walk, our photo booth at night time in the stables, A road trip with a horse and carriage, Sumo wrestling suits for the guests, Giant Jenga on the lawn etc.

Anyway, enough of the chat, lets allow the photos to do the talking …….

As you can see, I was given a bit of freedom to think up some interesting photo opportunities. Craig and Alice were very willing to do something different and the photography became one of the entertainments of the day! We were there for around 15 hours from early morning to late at night. It was a fabulous day and I hope you enjoyed the images I created.

If you are planning a wedding day with a difference in Warwickshire and you fancy some creative and fun photographic memories please give me a call on 07739096632. I’d love to talk to you.

Meanwhile, guests of Alice and Craig will be able to view the full set of edited images by clicking here and entering the password to enter their gallery. The password can only be obtained from Craig or Alice. From there you can view images and order prints and other products if you wish. Enjoy!

Wedding Photography at St Botolph’s Church in Newbold on Avon and Ansty Hall | Jade and Lewis Photographed by Victoria Jane Photography

Today I had another great day! This time the pressure was off me a little as I was sharing the responsibility for photographing Jade and Lewis’s wedding with my friend and fellow photographer, Lisa Scott. It was a lovely day, with the weather being kind to us. I started my wedding photography at the groom’s house while Lisa met the bride at Ansty hall where she was getting ready. I moved on to photograph Lewis, his best man and ushers at the church while Lisa stayed with Jade and her bridesmaids until their arrival at the church. During the service I was at the back of the church while Lisa was positioned at the front. Afterwards, we split the group shots at the church and at Ansty hall.  Anyway, enough of the words …… I’ll let my photos do the talking now!! These are all photographs that I took today ……
